What is an A-frame sign?

An A-frame sign is a freestanding sign that, when viewed from the side, resembles the letter "A". They are often placed at store entrances or along sidewalks and are widely used as informational signs to convey store information to passersby. A-frame signs are sometimes also called "A-boards" or "sandwich boards."

Characteristics of A-frame signs

While folding, self-standing types are common, there are various other types available, including those with fixed shapes and those that can display on both sides. They are easy to move and set up, making them ideal for readily displaying store hours, menus, or event announcements.

Often being the first sign customers see, they play an important role as an "entrance sign" communicating the store's presence and recommended information. They are utilized in a variety of places such as restaurants, beauty salons, retail stores, and event venues.
